This automatic phrase cross-linker was originally written to replace the old aLinks plugin.
What this Plugin Makes Possible
Originally designed as a replacement for an old and now defunct plugin, this plugin automatically links specified phrases in post content to corresponding destinations. The plugin can be configured with a limit on the number of links per phrase as well as the total number of links per post; in addition, the plugin can automatically mix up the set of phrases to be cross-linked, ensuring that it won’t always be linking the same phrases from the beginning of the list across different posts, while also ensuring that it will consistently link the same phrases within any specific post.
How it Works
This plugin communicates with WordPress primarily by tapping into the following:
Configuration and Flexibility
The simple configuration interface enables the administrator to set up the words and phrases to be linked, specify the mixing and other tweaks mentioned above, as well as specifying how to handle case differences, texturization, and filtering priority.
