Moving In
It’s been lingering on my to-do list for years now, and at last I’ve finally set up a new site specifically for my WordPress plugins. Welcome!
OK, I’ve finally done it: having been posting notices about my WordPress plugins over at one of my main sites, CounsellingResource.com, for some years now, at long last I’ve set up a new site and moved those posts over here.
Although it was only a grand total of 12 posts that needed to be moved from the other site, I was surprised to find a total of 440 comments exchanged just on those 12 posts. (It probably would have been even more, were it not for the fact that some time ago I started setting comments to close automatically once a post hit the age of 270 days.) So although I’ve trimmed out some of the original material from those old posts, I’ve also made sure to preserve all that discussion during the move.
Those who know me will be aware that I don’t like making changes to plugins every few days just for the sake of adding a couple of esoteric tweaks and boosting a plugin’s download count. So, as a result, I haven’t been posting update announcements very often either. That probably will not change much even with a new domain specifically dedicated to the plugins, but we’ll see how it goes.
So, for now, welcome to the site, and I hope you’ll find something useful here!
